Kitchen Shift 3
14 years & up | This is the clean up crew shift. We really need help with this position. It's not always glamorous, but it's a big help. Most of the people who end up staying and cleaning have been at the church for two or three days straight and need a break by the end of the dinner. It would help them out greatly for a crew of eight to ten people to sign up to help with this shift.

Canned Goods Sorter
All ages | Help sort canned goods received from the various food drives held in the church, church preschool, and the community throughout the month of November. Usually one or two organized sorts will be scheduled. Other sorts may come up as needed. Sorters will be notified by e-mail of upcoming sorts. |

Delivery Crew
Licensed drivers, family members may accompany | Deliver meals to homebound persons on Thanksgiving morning. Arrival time at church around 9:30 am Thanksgiving morning.

Dessert Cook
All ages | Cook a homemade dessert and deliver to church on Wednesday by 5:00 pm. Please slice or cut if needed and use a disposable serving dish. |

Dining Room Hospitality
All ages | Help serve drinks and desserts. Assist guests to a table as needed. Keep the dining room looking nice, and clean up spills or messes as needed. |

Dressing Cook
All ages | Cook a pan of homemade dressing and deliver to church on Wednesday by 5:00 pm. Please use a disposable pan. |

Greeters
All ages | Greet guests as they arrive for the dinner. Direct them to the serving tables or help them to a table if needed.

14 years & up | Warm food delivered on Wednesday, set up serving line, help prepare to go boxes for Meal Delivery Crew, begin serving line when dinner starts, clean kitchen as needed |

14 years & up | Keep serving line going, set plates, cook/warm additional food as needed, assist in cleaning the kitchen |

Mashed Potato Cook
14 years & up | Come to the church kitchen on Wednesday afternoon to help clean and cook potatoes for Thursday dinner.

Photographer
old enough to take some good pictures | Take pictures throughout the dinner on Thursday. If possible, take pictures of some of the canned goods sorts, the set up, and the cooking on Wednesday. |

Set-up/Decorate Team
All ages | Come to the church on Wednesday to help set up the tables and chairs, decorate the family life center, and any other fun things we may find to do that day. |

Socializers
All ages, especially children | Visit with guests during dinner and make them feel welcome. For some of our guests, this time is the only time during Thanksgiving when they will be around other people. This position truly is a special treat for the guest and the volunteer. |

Sweet Potato Cook
14 years & up | Come join us early Thursday morning (around 8:00) and make some yummy sweet potato soufflés. |

Turkey Cook
All ages | Cook and slice a turkey then deliver it to the church by 5:00 on Wednesday. If you'd like to donate a cooked turkey, you can do that, too. (Check with your Ingles, Kroger, or Publix deli for information). Let them cook the bird, then you can deliver it on Wed. |
