And as this happened, the soup grew richer and smelled more delicious.”-Stone Soup, retold by Jon J Muth Thank you to all of you who made this year's Community Thanksgiving Dinner such a success. We served approximately 800 meals to guests in our Family Life Center and to homebound members of our community. The volunteer effort was amazing. We were so blessed to have so many home cooked turkeys, dressing, and desserts, along with the hand cooked and mashed potatoes. Our food pantry benefited greatly from the food drives that so many of you helped make possible. Of course, the decorating team turned the Family Life Center into a beautiful harvest dining room, and our delivery and kitchen crews made the Community Thanksgiving Dinner run like clockwork. Thank you all for your help and participation. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving, and that your Advent and Christmas season will be full of peace and joy. -Stephani Satterfield
